• Lead installation groups or teams with adept project management skills.
   

• Conduct advanced testing and troubleshooting for copper and optical fiber installations.
   

• Evaluate diverse applications of information and communications technology (ICT) cabling installation.
   

• Provide recommendations adhering to relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
   

• Execute job plans, scope of work, retrofits, and upgrades for existing infrastructure.
   

Requirements: Candidates should possess relevant certifications such as BICSI, Panduit, Corning, etc.

• Install, diagnose, and repair various access control systems, video surveillance systems and alarm intrusion systems. 
   

• Install, repair, and maintain security systems; perform regular maintenance to prevent break downs; diagnose problems with computerized systems and determine course of action and perform repair.
   

• Plan security alarm installations by surveying and evaluating location; identifying alarm installation requirements; laying-out equipment and wiring plan.
   

• Establish security systems by installing equipment and associated cabling; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to BICSI standards and NEC Codes. 
   

• Follow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures. Tests operation of equipment to signal-receiving center to properly establish.
   

• Verify security systems functioning by testing equipment, connections, and signals, identifying and correcting problems.
   

• Maintain records by documenting installation, locations, panel types, usernames, passwords, IP address and Mac address.
   

• Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and clean up installation debris.
   

• Complete as-builts, closeout documents per contract / customer spec.
   

• Answer and return all emails within 24 hours. ​

 

Requirements:

• Experience in Access Control & Surveillance.

• Knowledge of Paxton, Axis, Hanwa, and others preferred.

• Experience with CCTV, Intercom and Burg experience. 

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. 

• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.

• Must be able to lift 50-80 pounds.

• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

• Must pass a background check, pre-employment drug test, and security license.
